Quick answer
All cancellations and changes happen inside the Paramour negotiation/booking thread. Providers approve or decline every change; nothing updates until both sides accept the revised proposal.
Overview
Paramour separates interest from commitment. A Booking Request is not a confirmed booking. Any material change—time, duration, location, services, or extras—goes in as a change request and is saved as a proposal revision. Once accepted, the revision becomes the live terms. Safety stays central: providers may cancel if boundaries or verification fail, and blocking/reporting tools are available. Keeping communication in-thread preserves a clear record and helps prevent disputes.
Withdraw vs Cancel
Withdraw Request ends a pending inquiry before anything is confirmed. Cancel Booking ends a confirmed appointment. Both actions happen inside the thread, so the record stays clear.
Provider approval for every change
Clients can request reschedules or modifications, but providers approve or decline. Revised proposals only take effect after both sides accept.
Availability, pricing, and policies
Confirmed bookings reserve provider time. Cancellations release it. Provider policies define timing windows and, where supported, any fees or refunds shown at acceptance.
Common questions
Open the negotiation thread and choose Withdraw Request. This closes the pending inquiry and does not count as canceling a confirmed booking.
Go to the booking thread and choose Cancel Booking. If the provider’s policies include timing rules or fees (and your region supports them), you’ll see them during the flow. Cancellation completes after mutual confirmation.
Rescheduling keeps the booking but changes its terms (such as time or duration) through a revised proposal that both sides must accept. Canceling ends the confirmed booking and releases the reserved time.
Yes. Use Request Change in the booking thread, select what you want to modify, and submit. The provider reviews and may update the proposal. Changes only apply after both sides accept.
Any charges depend on the provider’s policies and whether regional payment features are available. If fees or refunds apply, they are shown clearly during the flow before you accept.
If a proposal isn’t accepted within the displayed window, it can expire. You can request a new proposal or continue the conversation in the thread.
Providers may cancel for safety, boundary, or verification reasons and can block or report if needed. These actions happen in-thread to keep a clear record.
No‑show and late‑arrival definitions follow the provider’s policies. Providers can mark these in the thread and, where supported, may offer rescheduling, assess fees, or block for repeated issues.
Final thoughts
Keep every update in the Paramour thread for clarity and trust. Providers set policies and approve changes; early communication helps avoid surprises. When in doubt, request a change or ask a question in-thread.
